Our Story

A Family Farm In Aughton.

Duncan Gielty is a second-generation farmer. For more than forty years he and his family have grown organic vegetables and looked after the land at Lyncroft Farm. The Farmers Box is how that harvest reaches kitchens nearby, packed with whatever the season has ready.

The Family

Duncan and Jimmelyn run the farm day to day. The hands that harvest your vegetables are the same ones that pack them.

The Standard

We’re certified by the Organic Food Federation and inspected at least twice a year, so our organic practice is checked, not just promised.

The Round

Our vans reach Ormskirk, Southport, Crosby, Formby, Bootle, Skelmersdale, Rainford, Upholland, Kirkby and the Liverpool area. Your postcode sets the day.

From The Field

Planted, Lifted And Packed Here.

From seed to doorstep, every stage happens on our farm. We plant, harvest, pack and load each order ourselves.

Because nothing passes through a wholesale market, many vegetables leave Lyncroft within a day of being lifted, and buying direct keeps the price fair.

Harvest Time

The People Behind The Box.

It takes a small team to plant, pick, pack and drive every week. Come autumn, that means pumpkins by the crate, cut and carried in by hand.
